Bio Formed at the University of South Dakota with a line-up of Erik Appelwick (bass, vocals), Justin Seim (guitar, vocals), Dave Scarbrough (guitar, vocals), and George Gongopoulos (drums), the Harvesters quickly rose to the upper echelons of a healthy mid-1990s southeastern South Dakota music scene.  In 1996 they became the first band from the state to get into South By Southwest. The alt-country band broke up in the haze of the late 1990s, but left behind one (very hard to find) CD.

Bio (from their website) "Citrîne was made possible by fate and modern technology. Formerly an acoustic singer-songwriter, Nashville-based Bethany traded her ukulele for synths and formed a new  sound. A string of serendipitous coincidences led to her collaboration with St. Paul-based musician and producer Erik Appelwick (Tropical Depression, Vicious Vicious, Tapes 'n Tapes) and Citrîne was born. Having never met in person, the band uses a modern-day mail-and-return system to complete songs in their respective cities. After releasing two EPs, Spine and Waves , Citrîne continues to release a steady stream of new material, building on the momentum of their Spotify success with the ambivalent break-up single, “Arcade.” Their songs have been featured on HBO, MTV, and The CW." Bio Starting in 2000 as a John Hermanson solo project, Alva Star came together as a real band with players Darren Jackson (guitars, vocals), Brian Roessler (bass), and Peter Anderson (drums).  Their second album featured Erik Appelwick on bass and Ian Prince on drums.
